This private forum is small and very active. You must apply to be a member and once in, you must follow the forum rules and post at least once a week. If you forget to post, your membership can lapse and you'll have to reapply. A little harsh, right? That being said, this is by far my favorite forum. The fact that the forums are private and the posting requirement means that there are no lurkers and everyone shares freely. My favorite fellow Disney brides are friends I met on this forum and I highly recommend it.
The Weddings Forum on DISboards
The DISboards are a busy, crazy place, but they're also a wealth of information. PROS: tons of Disney brides and grooms show up on these forums and it's a great place to find the answers to all of your wedding planning questions. CONS: lots of lurkers, threads get buried fast, and it's a little tough to join in the conversation as a newbie. If you can get past the occasional catty comment and deal with the fairly strict moderators (I swear, I've been nearly banned about 20 times), then this is a FANTASTIC source of information.

Argh. I am in the process of trying to join DisneyBrides.com and I'm reading the rules and it now says that you need a current member to say they referred you???? How do I get a referral?
