Ok, I lied, I do have a blog to post. But, as this blog is only going out to one of you, it's sort of like not blogging...
Dear Megan S.,
I just wanted to send this note out into the world so that you know how much I appreciate the wedding gift you sent us. It was such a happy surprise to receive a gift out of nowhere from one of my readers and you were quite clever to get on our registry and pick something you knew I would love. The cookbook is absolutely to die for and I adore flipping through it. Kyle is eagerly awaiting the time when I'll pull out one of the recipes and whip us up some fine cuisine, but in the meantime I'm having a good time looking at all the pretty pictures.
It really was so thoughtful of you to send something and I truly appreciate it. I've been harassing the people at Crate and Barrel to try to get them to send me your address so I can send you a proper thank-you note, but as they seem to have "privacy concerns", blah blah blah, and don't understand why I don't know the address of someone sending me wedding gifts, this open letter will have to do.

I thougt in send you a present too, but, unfortunely i couldnt cause in out of the states, but if sometime you wants to have a vacation in mexico, you and Kyle are welcome at my home..
