Etsy Seller Spotlight: PartyStarters

One of the favorite elements among guests at my sister's baby shower was the paper mini cake that held the party favors. I got the cake from PartyStarters, an Etsy shop that (true to its name) supplies you with just the right things to turn a gathering into a truly festive occasion.

The cake was done up in pink, green, and white to match the color scheme of the party and a little cake topper with Lily's name in really fun font came with it, so it was perfect on top of the cupcake tower! In fact, I personally think it really made the whole thing and I'm not sure I would buy one without the other:

We also got cupcake toppers to match the cake topper and used those on the cupcakes. So darling and such a nice touch! I noticed that the cupcakes with the toppers were the first ones to go because people just couldn't resist!

The cake boxes arrived empty, but they were easy to open and fill. We decided to go with lavender sachets, since there was already a lot of sweet stuff at the party. You could put anything in there, though. How cute would this be as a way to give presents to your bridesmaids at a special bridesmaids luncheon? I love the idea of receiving a gift that looks like a slice of cake!
