The New Disney Wedding Gowns from Alfred Angelo

It's true, folks. The days of Kirstie Kelly are over and the more affordable Alfred Angelo line will be coming out soon. These dresses will be priced between $599 and $1,299. So, I bet you we'll be seeing a lot more of them at actual Disney weddings. I loved the Kirstie Kelly collection, but I did think that they were a little pricey for what they were and, although there are dresses I'll be sad to see go, I'm excited to see what this new collection has to offer.

Note: the collection is coming out in October (hence all the hype), but they won't be available in stores until January. So, if you're getting married in 2010 and you still don't have a dress, I wouldn't wait around for the new selection. In fact, if you're getting married in 2010 and you still don't have a dress, you need to go shopping. Probably today. Just stop reading and go.

Here are some screenshots if you don't feel like watching the video:

I love all of those dresses and their price tag! When I was looking for my dress I really wanted to try on one of the Kristie Kelly gowns but didn't want to fall in love with a dress I could not afford. This is great info for all of the up coming Disney brides.

I'm so incredibly envious of the brides who get to where these dresses! ;D I agree ~ while the Kirstie Kelly dresses were beautiful, they were rather pricey, and while I went to the Kirstie Kelly store in L.A. and fell in love with a dress ~ it was too much for me...even with monthly payments for one year.

I love, Love, LOVE the Cinderella and Belle dresses! hmm...perhaps for our future vow renewal... ;-)

The Cinderella dress is my favorite. I am a little surprised that there's only one gown with a loose, long, flowy silhouette and I love it, the Jasmine gown, except for the one weird strap.

I have to prelude this by saying that I am both a huge fan of Alfred Angelo AND of Disney. With that said, not one of these dresses speaks to me "Disney" or strikes me as a good representation of that character. I hate to be the critic, but I am not impressed.
