New Sales + Specials Page on The Disney Wedding Blog

I added a new page to the blog to serve as a catch-all for some of the deals, discounts, and specials that you might be looking for. I had been including some deals in the weekly update, but I noticed that people had a hard time finding the deals if the update wasn't on the front page. Since "discount" and "sale" are two of the most commonly searched terms on this website, I figure a lot of you might be looking for ways to save money.

The new page can be found at the top of the blog in the menu up there where the Disney Wedding Classifieds page used to be. I still have a classifieds section, but I stuck it to the end of the new Sales + Specials page, since it wasn't being used or looked at that often. I still think the idea of having wedding classifieds on the site is a good one, but until more people use it there's no reason for it to have a spot of its own.

Anyway, the new page is going to feature deals offered by vendors and discounts available on wedding products or things you might need. I'll do my best to keep it as up to date as possible, but if you know of a great deal that I don't have up there, I'd love it if you'd drop me a FB message or email to alert me, because sometimes I just miss stuff.

For really quick deals, I'll probably just post them on Facebook, rather than putting them up on the page, to make sure that people don't miss them. Wondering what a quick deal is? Well, here's two right now:

• 10% Cash Back at the Disney Store - Ebates is doing 10% cash back on purchased made at disneystore.com, but the deal is for today only. Tomorrow it goes back to their normal 5% cash back. I don't know if they do these "daily double" deals often, since I've only been using Ebates myself for about a month, but since 10% is a fair amount off (almost $20 if you're buying a Dooney) I thought I'd share.

• Totsy has a sale going on right now for luggage from a company called Heys. I've never heard of them, but they have pretty cool stuff, including some Disney themed items. I've wanted matching luggage forever since our luggage is hodgepodge and very well-worn, so I'm kind of tempted. Since Totsy sales only last for a few days, this sale expires in just a little under 3 days, so if you're also looking to update your luggage, you might want to check it out.
