The Walt Disney Family Museum, located at The Prisidio in San Francisco, is a lovely, upscale location for your Disney-themed event. It's a relatively new venue and it has a number of different options, depending on whether you're thinking about holding your bridal shower, engagement party, or wedding reception there.
Lobby/Cafe:
- Seated capacity: 70; Reception capacity: 200
- Venue fee: $4,500
- The Lobby, located at the entrance to the Museum is filled with Walt Disney’s Honors andAwards. The room is adjacent to the stylish Museum Café. Together, the spaces are perfect for a reception or an intimate sit-down dinner. As weather allows, two wings of the Porch may be added.
Theater:
- Seated capacity: 114
- Venue fee: $500 (if you're adding the theater on to another package, it's $250)
- A state of the art 120 seat theater is located on the lower level, adjacent to Lobby, perfect for lectures and seminars.
Special Exhibition Hall:
- Seated capacity: 160; Reception capacity: 250
- Venue fee: $5,000
- The Museum complex includes 122 Riley Avenue. It houses the exquisite Special Exhibition Hall; the room has recaptured the era of the dramatic and original Presidio architecture. The Special Exhibition Hall’s spectacular interior is beautifully rendered in shades of pale yellow and rich white with a warm natural wood floor. Above the high ceiling is a charming balcony
overlooking the impressive space. Meticulously restored, the architectural details include period wainscoting, painted moldings and 5-panel doors. Meetings, receptions, sit-down dinners or intimate events will be glorious in this timeless space.
