Note: Joel and I live in Ct and traveled to Disney in Orlando, Fl because of its importance to us. Joel and his family have gone to Disney every year for about 20+ years and allowed my son and me to get that special experience when Joel and I started dating. Since we have been together We have all gone to Disney 3 times. My son, who was also my ring bare has gotten the amazing opportunity to be a part of the magic every time. Along with our immediate families 110 of our closest family and friends made the haul to join us for our special day J I am so happy to call Joel my husband and have him in my son’s life.

A Quick Note to the Readers
Hello dear friends,
I'm back after what has officially been the longest break I've ever taken from the blog. I spent the last two weeks with my family in California and intentionally stepped away from the computer, my email, and everything related to the blog. I had anxiety about letting everything go for a while, but it's been a surprisingly helpful way to determine which projects are really important and which relationships (both personal and professional) I should be putting my energy towards.
It was so lovely to receive your emails, Facebook messages, tweets, and texts offering condolences on the passing of my grandfather. Even though I didn't reply to most of you, each one made my day a little better and really meant something in this difficult time for my family. I'm happy to get back to you guys.
I did use my time away to think about what is and isn't working for this little blog. I'll be tweaking some things in the next couple of weeks and going back to some old lists of reader requests to see which needs still aren't being met, but if you have any ideas I'd love to hear them in the comments.
